NYU FNP Summer 2023

Hi everyone,

It's my first post and I tried to look all over the forums but didn't see much related to NYU Family NP Summer program. So I'd like to ask if anyone got accepted this year already or do you know when they gonna release the results. Thank you in advance! Any experience would be appreciated!

Thanks for starting this forum! I applied by end of January so also waiting to hear.  The website states 4-6 weeks after deadline so perhaps we won't hear until mid-end of March, which seems consistent with last year (though someone wrote that they got admitted on March 4th last year). Let's see! Would appreciate any updates!

Congrats!! So strange because I've read and heard so many times that interviews are not required but it seems like every year some people (not sure if all) get interview requests. Unfortunately I haven't heard anything yet.

Hi Amanda, thank you but don't lose hope! Just finished the interview but I think it didn't go well. And for those you know had the interview, did they all get accepted after the interview? Thank you!

What kind of questions were you asked?

Hi! Did you also get the interview? They're some general questions like introducing yourself and why do you choose FNP instead of other specialties. I guess I was too nervous for that. Good luck with yours!

Those who got interviews - what were your stats?? How many years experience and GPA??

Hi, my GPA is 3.85 with 8 years experience. How about yours and how's the interview going?

I haven't heard anything back yet and didn't get an interview but I have about 3 years experience 3.8 GPA. Definitely a bit nervous
