NYU BSN Fall 2012

Hi everyone,

There was no forum for NYU BSN applicants, so I thought I'd start one. Hello, is there anybody out there?

I was told that if you applied by March 1st, decisions will be emailed out by mid April.

April 1 was the final deadline for submitting your app.

I haven't heard back anything as of yet. I called the school and was told the earliest that we would likely hear back is mid April

When I emailed admissions, I was told after 5 pm on April 1 if you applied by Mar 1. Kind of annoyed about how late this is when it seems every other school wants a deposit BY April.

it's only after 5pm on April 1st for the accelerated programs. if you applied as a BSN transfer student, i think it said somewhere that it could be as late as May.

I have not received anything yet. From what I understand we should expect something beginning early to mid April, so it should be soon.

Did they email you telling you this? Just wondering because when I called NYU to see if they received all my materials they said if they were missing anything they would email.

For the Accelerated BSN program admission said mid-late April. Keep in mind April literally just started lol. I rather a school take their time with the admission decision instead of rushing through it.

They do email you if you are missing materials. You can also check on Albert to check on your application status.

I was accepted!! I doubt I can pay for it and will inevitably have to decline, but nevertheless: CELEBRATION!
