hey everyone,

congrats to everyone that got accepted! :yeah: i was wondering how everyone logs into albert.. i just spoke to someone in the nursing dept and they said that you have to be a student to gain access.. she also said well know in 4-6 weeks :dzed:

I just found out yesterday that i got accepted! i am super excited but at the same time worried about the cost... 83,000 just for tuition is a big commitment to pay back.. and i heard that the nursing program isnt worth the money... has anyone heard any differently ?

Kapoli - I've heard the same and i'm also freaking put about the cost. I applied to a couple other schools but I worry about turning down NYU and then not getting accepted anywhere else. It is a lot of money but I think it also depends on what you put into it. NYU has a good reputation and the nurses who graduate from NYU seem to do well afterwards. I feel like people would argue that the tuition is too much but at the same time, it's such a blessing to get into a good program these days, why not jump on the opportunity, right?

Thats true.. these days its hard enough to get into ANY program ... i got an interview to go to hunters accelerated program last year but i ended up not making the cut ... I wish i could talk to people that are actually in the program now to see how they like it.. its one thing to pay that much money and another thing to pay that much money and it not being a good program

I am still waiting for the verdict as well!

Any chance any of you have experienced difficulties with signing on to NYU Albert? I am able to sign on to NYU HOME with my NET ID & password but when I try with NYU ALBERT I get the response "Authorization Error-contact ITS help desk." I have spoken to 4 different NYU ITS personnel today and 2 Albert personnel then was redirected back to the NYU ITS Supervisor who said he would look into it. But I never received a call back from him.....:uhoh3:

Hmm that's strange Hopes, when u log into NYU home you shouldn't have to log into Albert again, I tried mine to see of maybe the system was experiencing difficulties but it's seems fine. Hopefully they get it all straightened out for you!

Wow that's really late. When I spoke to someone in admissions late last week they said no later than the end of November.
