hey! I figured I will start this thread! Who applied and now waiting anxiously?? :)
hi everyone,
for those who got accepted to Spring 2013, have you received the Clinical Placement Tool that was supposed to be sent to us by email today (1/4). I'm check my nyu email constantly!!
I'm a little confused about registering for class and paying the tutition bill. Aren't we supposed to pay the tutition by today (1/4) but i haven't received anything yet. Also, i'm still waiting for my loans to get processed by the school. The school is suppose to send a certification back to my loan company but they haven't done it yet. How long does it usually take? Please let me know.
Thank you in advance! =)
btw congrats to peachypeach719 and missacheung!
melmelmeow: I would be in touch with the financial aid's office, they are the ones that handle certification. they told me the certification process takes about 2 to 3 weeks…my loan company did things in reverse though, they approved me first and then sent out for certification, so the ball is in NYU's court.
you might have a slightly different deadline, since you do not get a bill until you're registered for classes…??? that's what I think. I did not get a bill until they registered me.
Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum and I will be applying for the next cycle this fall for 2014. I know it's a bit far from now but I still have three prereqs to complete this fall.
For those that have been accepted, CONGRATS!!!
If anyone can share their stats in terms of their GPA, general background, it would really really be appreciated!
I had a 3.8 GPA in psychology during my undergrad but I did not come from a health field. In fact, I've been working in a law firm for the past two years as a paralegal and I now I know what my real passion is. I miss the science and its applicability towards helping others.
Any insights would truly help the next prospective class!
Cheers to everyone!

have you heard back from nyu?? i was accepted as of last week and am trying to figure out the price tag. i've been to the tuition website but only glanced at it.
my credentials are as follows: 3.3 gpa for undergrad at a liberal arts college, 4.0 prereqs at local community college, a few years of nonprofit work and i've been volunteering for the past few months at local hospital. what were you credentials like?? did you apply for early admission??
i know hurricane sandy delayed the admissions process by a few days but people have already been hearing back from the school in regards to their decision. frankly i'm surprised by the quick turnaround!
