hey! I figured I will start this thread! Who applied and now waiting anxiously?? :)

finals + anticipation anxiety = :yawn: GAHHHHHHHH!! :uhoh3:

I am very anxious too!!! I hope we hear something tomorrow. I don't think I will be sleeping tonight lol.

checked my email right after my final this morning. still nothing -.- when I call to ask, they give me no info whatsoever about when I can expect to hear back :mad:

Nothing here either, I'm worried about (if we are accepted) clinical sites, registering for classes and obviously $. If I don't hear by the end of the week I'm gonna email the dean of nursing I think so hopefully he or she can at least give my some insight because admissions hasn't returned my email (although I'm sure they are tired of hearing from me lol)

i'm worried about that too! orientation is jan 18? if we don't find out until mid-dec, that doesn't give me much time to figure things out and make the move from Cali to the east coast. :dzed: i feel like i should call them again today and hopefully get someone that is willing to tell me more...

do you know anything about how financial aid works? I filled out my FASFA for this whole year since I was still taking classes this quarter, but anyone know if my aid gets transferred?

so frustrating..still checking my email throughout the day -.-

ElectricL: Make sure on your FAFSA you listed NYU as one of your schools to receive your SAR (meaning all of your financial aid information).

I talked to an admissions counslor earlier today and she told me all responses will be emailed or mailed out no later than the end of next week, but she also stated that the timeline is still tentative. She also mentioned that it is not unusual for them to send out letters as late as early Jan. So pretty much the information I've received did no help LOL. I guess well just have to wait like ducks T_T. GOOD LUCK and please inform us if any new information arises.

^yikes I hope they aren't sending out decisions that late! Let's hope she was right about everything going out by next week. I've been told lots of different things so it's hard to say when we will know. Definitely the most impatient and anxious I've ever felt!

so then next week? or is this going to drag on until january?!

i just wish they'll just accept everyone that's left. it's true torture for the rest of us that's been waiting since november... especially if we handed in everything before october 1st. :/
