hey! I figured I will start this thread! Who applied and now waiting anxiously?? :)
@Supreme: just try to stay positive, like I said before there were plenty of people last year who applied and didn't hear anything until the 2nd and 3rd week in December and quite a few of them ended up getting in so it's just hard to say at this point but I wish the best for everyone that's been posting here.
@Faces: Forsure, I also wish the best for everyone. It's just a little discouraging that others are already set and ready to start the program in Jan, whereas we're still in the dark. It's hard to believe to get a response in mid Dec and be able to finalize financial aid, private loans, and housing situations to be ready for the Jan start. Sorry I'm just being a debbie downer today since I received my rejection letter from USF CNL program. =(
I called today and spoke to a councelor who informed that the acceptances/denials go out in batches so it depends when the application was received by them and processed, I'm in the same boat and it's beyond frustrating. I submitted my app on oct 27th so those who did the same will most likely be in the very last batches and we will know within the next 2 weeks which anyway is the last 2 weeks since all acceptances or denials have to go out by the 15th...it doesn't make me feel any better actually so for all of you who are in the same boat as me, within next two weeks =\
@mraloha: that's AWESOME! Congrats!
@Supreme: I'm sorry to hear that, I will keep my fingers crossed for u.
@everyone else: MrAhloha is right, when I spoke to admissions last week they told me that if u haven't heard a "no" by now you are still in the running as all the definite "no's" were already sent. It's easy to be discouraged but there is definitely still hope for All of us we just gotta hang in there :)
DONT LOSE HOPE!!! i submitted my application mid September and i finally got my acceptance e-mail today! If you still haven't received anything yet, that means you are still in the running!! keeping my fingers crossed for you all!
Congratulations Mr. aloha!! I called them again today and I was told not to lose hope since most of the definite "no's" have gone out already, so I will just wait to hear something.
@faces: I hope to hear something next week.
@everyone who got accepted: did you all have to find your own private loans or does NYU provide that?
