NYU ABSN Spring 2021

Hi all. I'm starting a forum for NYU Spring 2021. I know the application goes live soon so might as well make one now.

I applied for Fall 2020 but didn't get in so I'm applying for the second time. Good luck to us all!

1 recommendation letter from a supervisor 

I was an OT volunteer at 2 places and I’ve been a CNA for 2 years

prereqs-

gen chem: on track for an A

stats: A-

developmental psych: A

micro: didn’t take yet

nutrition: didn’t take yet

A&P I: B-

A&P II: B+

They asked me for a midterm report also for my gen chem class a few weeks ago if anyone was wondering

Hi, did you applied to non-accelerated program? I got accepted to non-accelerated program starting Spring, 2021 and cannot find other students who got accepted to non-accelerated program.

Yes! I applied to the second degree program (non accelerated) not the 15 month one cause I still have to complete some pre reqs

I think so; I got my acceptance on Nov 13th Friday

I had emailed admissions a few days ago and received an email yesterday at 10:30pm saying my application was still in review. The email was from an assistant director of diversity initiatives. ?‍♀️  IDK if that is bad news LOL

That's interesting! When I've emailed admissions, I usually just got an email back from admissions.

It’s Friday! Any updates yet?

NEU has been calling me and telling me to pretty much hurry up with finding an apartment, loans, and paperwork. They're right. Semester starts January 19th.  If I don't hear back from NYU by December then I have to fully commit to NEU. But I am bummed.
