NYU ABSN Spring 2021

Hi all. I'm starting a forum for NYU Spring 2021. I know the application goes live soon so might as well make one now.

I applied for Fall 2020 but didn't get in so I'm applying for the second time. Good luck to us all!

thank you! I submitted my application by the end of august. had two letter of recommendations. I got an email around 2pm that there was an update to my application. there was a link that took me to my login and there was a button that I had to click to view my acceptance letter. 

my stats are as followed: 

- anp1: B- 

- anp2: B 

- chem: A 

- micro: A 

- nutrition: A 

- stats: B 

- developmental psych: A-

currently finishing my last semester of undergrad and my cumulative GPA is a 3.8. 

I'm surprised I got an acceptance today too because someone said the admissions office said it was next week

thank you ! & no I've never retaken any. 

I'm sorry if I made it more nerve wrecking ! I just thought it would be helpful to know that acceptances are going out. I guess there was miscommunication somewhere for those who called and got told it was next week.

I don’t know LOL I called admission office they said the first batch of decisions will send out next week

I read that they usually give out acceptances on Friday’s but that could be wrong I’m not sure! ?

im pretty sure its only Fridays and from what it seems between 3-5pm ?‍♀️

Hey! First, CONGRATS! I'm so happy decisions are going out because I have another school waiting on me.....while I'm waiting on NYU. Second is, you don't owe anyone an explanation. NYU is known for giving prospective students the wrong information, especially when they receive a high volume of calls. 

My stats are similar to yours except I got an A in stats, and A+ in Nutrition and Dev Psych Lifespan. The only difference is my undergrad was only a 3.3, and I only submitted one letter of recc from my Care Manager Supervisor. I applied on September 4th.

Strictly talking about my own experience with the past forum, they send out acceptances on all days of the week. The most common day, however, was Friday.

Yes, but understand that it was a bit diminishing. All I am saying is let's be happy for each other when we get our acceptances.
