NYU ABSN Spring 2018!

Hi,

I was curious if anyone was applying to NYU ABSN program for the Spring of 2018! I have a Bachelors of Art in Communication with a business emphasis; I am currently taking prerequisites and applying this summer.

Hey! What makes a strong personal statement?

This is my first time applying for any ABSN programs so I'm not entirely sure, but my guess would be:

1. make sure you fully answer the two questions outlined in the prompt

2. admissions will be reading tons of these essays, make sure yours stands out!

Why were you told to redo it? Is it more than 500 words?

It is exactly 500,it was hard keeping it 500 though. I didn't get to the point but I fixed it so its way better now.

Hi everyone,

I just submitted my application to NYU's Spring 2018 ASBN Cohort. I am extremely nervous. Now, it's just a waiting game. I am pretty confident in my qualifications. I wanted to know what are everyones' GPAs like?

Hey guys I just applied as well. Very nervous! My gpa is around a 3.1 but I have a 3.8 in prerequisites. Super excited/nervous. Also, this program costs so much money which is worrisome. I think I exceeded the 500 words, whoops.

Hello everyone,

I applied a few weeks ago to the ABSN program for spring 2018 as well! I wanted to know if anyone knew what the average GPA is for accepted students. I also heard that we usually have to wait till November to hear back but does anyone know if we get a response earlier if we applied before the priority deadline?
