Hello everyone! I've been waiting for a decision since Jan... I just saw the upload button has disappeared on the application portal but the checklist is still there. Does anyone know if it means anything?

I honestly think the reason why their letters have taken so long is because they are waiting for the UC students (usually like half of their applicants) to be done maybe...? most UCs are supposed to end this week, so I think that's why they make their final date June 15th. really telling considering they sent me my acceptance the literal day after my own graduation. but this week should be the last!! good luck to those still waiting 🙂

hey! does anyone know if they make exceptions for chem taken online? I was already accepted and just have to submit my transcript for chemistry now but nervous they are going to realize it was an online course and not in person

Hi! I'm pretty sure they accept online courses that were taken in the 2020-21 and 2021-22 school years (as noted on the website: https://nursing.nyu.edu/academics/baccalaureate/prerequisite-courses?tgid=nyunursing-tabs-14576&tid=general-requirements) 

So, if you took them during those years, you're good. I'm not sure about courses taken specifically in the year of 2023, for those I would check with them by phone/email. I took gen chem in a hybrid format fall 2022, and it was accepted. Good luck!
