Hey, this is super duper early but I figured we could get some questions, fears, or concerns talked through until March 1, 2021, for priority or April 1, 2021, for the regular decision to NYU's ABSN 15 month program for non-nurses. Please don't be afraid, Please share stats if you are comfortable doing so. It really does help cohorts after us figure out strengths and weaknesses to be better applicants. Hey, after all, It's all about helping each other out at the end of the day, right! Don't be shy, talk about where you're from and things you may be worried about for the application process. As well as other schools you might be applying for!
I applied to the second degree nursing program (non-accelerated), but haven't been able to find the forum for it specifically. Does anyone know if the decision timeline is similar to the accelerated program?

Yes, they are expecting to have in-person classes if anything changes they will reach out. I called today to get an update. The lady told me approx 180 students for the accelerated cohort for Fall 2021 and they will start sending acceptance emails by end of April, May and some in June.
Just received an acceptance! I applied mid March for the regular deadline - heard back far sooner than I thought!! My checklist was up as early as this morning but I got my admissions email just 10 minutes ago! Very excited!!
How long did the school give you to decide if you were going to attend?
Also, did they send your decision at 2pm on the dot?

Thanks! I got the email at 2:10pm. They give one week. I haven’t heard back from my other applications yet so I put down my deposit. Tried to time them all the right way but so it goes.. hoping for the best for everyone else!!

Oh, exciting! If you don't mind me asking, how much is the deposit? I'm so anxious to hear back LOL. Did you checklist disappear or you're not sure?

The deposit is $500 ..Im not completely sure what the guidelines are here for what we’re allowed to talk about but I feel like that’s OK to disclose? ? my checklist was up that morning, but then I got an email saying “an important decision was ready to view” with a link to the applicant portal. When I logged in that time the homepage had changed with links to the decision and finances rather than my prereq checklist etc.

Does anybody know the academic schedule/day to day life to expect with clinicals and classes. Not including the hours of studying we will need LOL.
