It's a little early but I figured I would start this thread as we all begin to get our applications in!

Anyone planning on living on/off campus? If so, where are you looking for housing?

It's because whoever went through the acceptance process for you just forgot to click a button. I called Admissions and it took two people to figure it out. If this is the issue you're having just call Admissions again and tell them you think there's a technical issue and to look up your name. Worked for me. Hope that helps!

Thank you! Yes that was my issue- had quite the run around! IT had no idea but finally it was resolved! Thanks again! I'm glad someone else experienced this lol, I'm sure I sounded nuts explaining I don't see a button haha

Congrats to all that got accepted yesterday!! I think I'm going to end up declining my spot just because the price is a little too much for me. Hopefully this opens up room for those that are still waiting! I just wanted to share my stats for those that are waiting and for those applying next cycle who will undoubtedly read through this thread haha
BA in psychology (still in progress)
3.6 overall GPA
A&P 1: B
A&P 2: C (thought that was going to kill me but it didn't!!)
Microbio: A
Chem: A
Nutrition: A
Stats: A
Developmental psych: A-
My letters of rec were from my supervisor at work (I'm a lifeguard) and my creative writing professor!! I also have no healthcare experience. My work experience is mostly with young children.
Best of luck to everyone still waiting!!

Where are you going to end up attending instead if you don’t mind me asking?

We got to speak to a few of their current students, they said the program is well designed and they are really enjoying it. Another concerning thing with Pace was that their clinical sites were anywhere in the tri state area, so students may have clinicals in NYP or in a hospital in Sleepy Hollow, Mt. Kisko etc. I don't drive so a far clinical site is not ideal for me. I wanted to defer till Spring to save more money, but now that i have to start in the Fall i am ready and excited!! I am waiting to put a deposit for NYU until i receive my financial award letter. They said it during the accepted student night that you are not expected to make a decision until you get your numbers, so if your deadline is approaching but you don't have your aid info yet, reach out to their admissions office.

Hi Aya,
I was just wondering if you have received you financial information as of yet. You can direct message me if you’re willing.

I did, I got accepted on April 4th and my financial aid arrived on April 19th. I wasn't planning on making any decisions without knowing my financial aid status.
I submitted my financial aid a few days after submitting my application.

Did they let you postpone your decision-making to wait for your financial aid package?

Yes they did. They don't expect anyone to make their decision without viewing their financial aid info first.
