NYU ABSN Fall 2016

I am looking into applying for the NYU ABSN Fall 2016 program. I was wondering if anyone had any helpful tips and thoughts on what I should know when applying for the program.

Hey guy! I received my financial aid award letter via email. Confusing I have questions..

Mine is just a whole bunch of loans: subsidized, unsubsidized and federal plus loan.

I noticed that they charged me for 12 credits. The curriculum shows that we're supposed to be charged for 16credits.

Hey, so if you go to the Tuition and Fee rates on the NYU website, it is the same tuition price for 12-18 credits. They probably put the charge as 12 credits, but you'd be paying the same amount whether it was 12 or 16 credits. Hope that helped some!

Haha oh man well I guess I can stop sitting there and refreshing my email every 5 seconds!!!! I guess that's a good and a bad thing though, what a long waiting period. I wish they would just give us a straight answer to start.

I haven't received my financial aid package either. I called and they told me they've just started sending them out so we should be getting them soon.

Sage 288, hopefully you'll receive it soon. For me nothing but a whole bunch of loans.

I was thinking that they make be going by alphabetical order by last name. I don't know.. Just my guess. I don't think it would be random.

Same! I received it too. I called today to ask if April 27 is the only day they have. She replied that May ( something I forgot lol) and June 2nd !!

P.S. I am really worried about the financial aspect.

@FutureNurse4 what department did you call to ask about the admit days? I haven't received an email from my advisor yet and I tried calling today to find our more information since I'll be visiting from out of state but was sent from department to department and no one seemed to have any idea what I was talking about, thank you!

The department is Nursing. They did the same to me . I got transferred everywhere. But be very specific. You just got admitted, you're a second degree. Try to call at 9am because that when they are coming in..
