NYP "Unlicensed New Grad Nurses" Posting

Published

Hi guys! Has anyone heard back about the general new grad posting at all NYP locations the other week - unlicensed or licensed?

Thank you! Yes I noticed that as well in regards to the contract length. I've been checking to see when they post one with a shorter contract length. If I come across one, I'll send you the info. At this point, the first hospital to give me an offer, I'm taking!?

Please do! I'd appreciate it. And yes, that's me too. My interviewer told me that because things are starting to get back to "normal" due to the reduction in new covid19 admissions, they'll be hiring new people moving forward so we might hear from these hospitals sooner than later.

Hi everyone! I was just wondering for those of you who received an assessment/ questionnaire did you all submit a cover letter when you guys applied?

Hey! I did submit a cover letter when I applied and honestly, don't be discouraged if you didn't. The hiring process seems to be veeeeery long.

I didn't submit a cover letter, just my resume

Hi all,

I also applied to the licensed position from NYP, filled out questionnaire, did assessment, and emailed to follow up. No response yet. Hopefully we’ll hear something soon.

Hi everyone,

I got email from recruiter saying that they will be in touch soon to update on status of application. Has anyone heard back from them?

Hi!

Same. I got the email on Monday and haven't heard on the status update yet ?

I applied 13 days ago and the status on Workday still says "Application Submitted." I haven't received any emails from NYP that I know of. Anyone in a similar position? Anyone know who I should follow up with?

Honestly they take FOREVER. I applied over a month ago, got a few emails and nothing's happened since. The process is very very slow at NYP (or at least it seems like it).

Has anyone heard back from NYP since the email saying they'd get in touch soon? Any new updates?

Hey! As a current employee at NYP I can say that they definitely do take forever. The way they’re setting up interviews now is through an app just like zoom so I guess they’re still trying to figure it all out.
Have you guys applied for your NCLEX yet?

Hey, how long did it take you to get hired? I've heard of people who get hired as fast as 2 weeks unless it was because someone at NYP put the word in for them?

I applied to the one for licensed nurses.
