NYIT Nursing graduates, anyone?

I am a third year, male, Nursing student at NYIT. I have been looking around for information regarding students who went to NYIT for Nursing and either graduated or failed out.

Just looking to see the responses I get, or how any one else feels about this program.

For some strange reason, there is probably only 2 links from 2010 on a simple google search, barely any reviews or comments about the program. Thank you!

Hi, Thank you!

I am doing well, having the end of semester stress with Pharmacology though. I scored a pretty low grade on my second exam. Now I have to score an 89 on the final and not score any points on the ATI exam, or get a level 2 on the ATI exam and a 70 on the in class final.

89 is a little bit out of my range but I have been studying like a mad-man, hoping to finish up this semester without any sadness haha

Still curious to find any recent graduates from the program, would love to hear about their experience while in the program, as well as post-grad employment.

As for my last post, I passed all of my classes and as of the end of December 2014, I am now officially a second semester Junior, with 2 more semesters left after this one! Extremely excited, as well as very nervous after everything I have been through so far, but I will manage and will be graduating.

Hey all. I just applied to NYIT as well, actually was in my way to drop off my transcripts when I decided to check reviews on the school. There aren't many but a lot of people gave their Nursing program bad reviews. Just wondering what your experience has been.

I graduated. Make the most out of what you have, everyone I know I have graduated with is getting great jobs and positions. It is up to you to market yourself and sell yourself on the interview, not your school. Goodluck

Oh man you guys just eased my mind a bit. I'm just nervous that the professors aren't going to be helpful. I've already been through that experience and not having support within the school definitely is a hindrance. Does NYIT offer weekend or evening classes?

They offer weekend and night classes for Pre-Requisites. The nursing program is only offered during the day. Goodluck

How was the program at NYIT? Is it as bad as people said it is? I am applying there for fall '17 and would want to get the full insight of the program there. thank you.
