  1. Hi! Sorry for the late reply. Yes I took all my classes at BMCC straight out of high school. For the professors that I do recommend for some of the requirements for NYU and nursing in general are: Nutrition: Maxx Rivera Sociology: Deborah Gambs developmental psychology: Lisa Greco Joseph The rest of my science professors are either retired or I wouldn't recommend at all How I studied honestly was a rollercoaster because I was still getting use to the college life because I did graduate HS a year early and went straight to college when I turned 17. It was hard at first but what I recommend is flashcards are super important (at least for me), diagrams, drawings (I'm very much a visual learner), I also recorded lectures and rewrote the slides to my understanding. That's what seemed like it worked for me :), I hope that helps and hopefully you get in to NYU when you apply. I definitely recommend checking the CCTOP scholarship.
  2. Maybe you should call and ask when to expect to hear back? Really hope you get in, good luck :)
  3. Did no one hear back yet?
  4. I got an email to check my portal. You click on Application status and the right hand corner it says 'Admission Decision'.
  5. Thank you!!
  6. Thank you everyone! Honestly I don't think my GPA was the best. Overall I have a 3.5 GPA. AP1 i got a C+ (yeah I know ugh) AP2: A Micro: B Statistics: B Psychology Human Development I got an A Nutrition: A Hopefully I put down all the main prerequisites, I took a bunch of other classes that got me a 3.5 and I think they saw that I was progressively getting better with my grades throughout my time in BMCC, I know it's not like a 4.0 but I think my essay and letter of recommendation stood out to them. Also I did do a lot of volunteer work in Hospitals, soup kitchens, Senior homes, etc.. Don't lose hope!
  7. You guys, I got in!!! Received my letter yesterday! Did anybody else hear back?
  8. Girl I know what you mean! I'm trying to study for my Micro Final but I can't help but check my application status and email like every hour. Man it would be so cool if we both got in
  9. A lot got in though and it was three years ago, hopefully things will look good ahead
  10. https://allnurses.com/new-york-nursing/fall-2015-transfer-982375.html this is from 2015
  11. I was looking at old threads for people who applied to NYU during fall semesters, a lot of their responses were they heard back in the May 20's range. So we actually might hear back next week. Oh boy
  12. No :/ I'm trying to keep patient but the fact that I don't know if my career is taking off this fall or not is killing me.
  13. We can only hope for the best right now :/ Hopefully we hear back soon, the wait is so agonizing
  14. They haven't asked me either, I thought that would be the reason for the long wait lol. I'm 18 turning 19 soon.
  15. Just a random question, you don't have to answer. Is anyone here under 20?
