NYC Travel buddy

Hi all,

I'm planning on starting my first travel assignment in the Fall (end of Sept most likely). I am talking to a recruiter about going to NYC. Wondering if anyone will be heading in that direction and looking for someone to meet up with.

I have not gotten one as of yet. There haven't been a lot coming up for NICU.

Check in the Bronx. I did an assignment there while living in Manhattan. It's a short commute and you can still enjoy the city.

MSN. I've heard some negative things said about them but I didn't have any issues. Paycheck was always accurate and on time. Sometimes it would even be in my account early, Wednesday or Thursday. Not sure what else people can ask for.

Also, you know that Cross Country's purchase of MSN is complete? They have said no changes for 6 months, but after that... you might be on a two week pay cycle for starters.

Paydays were supposed to be Friday but sometimes would come Wednesday or Thursday. They have strong connections in the NYC area. I'm not currently traveling with them but am considering them for my next assignment. Cross Country pays biweekly!? That's no good.

MSN is strong in NYC? That's news to me! I believe American Mobile had the most.

You would know more than me in regards to big picture stuff. I've only been through 2 assignments. When I finished my assignment in the Bronx I was offered other assignments in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn.
