I finished my LPN-RN program from Carleen Health Institute. I took the NCLEX under New York state board and passed the exam. I'd been waiting on the license a couple of weeks and decided to call NYbon, was told the school is under review - hence they would not be issuing any licenses till the review is done. They also wouldn't give a time frame. Does anyone have any idea how long these reviews usually take or what could be done in situations like this?
Oh I saw that one @Myra Myra
@Myra Myra thats a mess.

No, I went to Carleen health institute. Am in a private school in Oregon Portland.
@Myra Myra OK, nice
@Darp7288 I don't think they got there license taken away, its like a friend of.mine told me something similar at her job. But it was rumors the nurse just lost her job( the person lied about getting MSN degree). Employers don't check your education, they just check to see if u have a license . In this case they check cause your in management. How would u know if someone lost there license unless they tell u. Jobs spread false rumors
The police came to the job to arrest one of them for fraud. The job found out the diploma was not legit. The other not sure.

Everyone knows that this is going on so it’s an excuse to use now. You can have your license for years and still *** up on a job
the cops showing up at your job is a bit much. I am not saying charges couldn't be file against them for impersonating a health profession and working on someone but yes if licensed and a BON finds out the person ilegally obtained a transcript/degree( not an actuall enrolled student) their license will be revoked and information shared nationally

That is called fraud. Bank fraud, securities fraud, health care fraud all should require jail time. Would you settle for care delivered from a fraudulent nurse? Somehow in our distorted way of thinking, we react to more penalties from our money managers than our health care providers.

OMG, I feel bad for those students because they wasted their money and time, am glad I was able to get away before it was too late.
I said it's on my BON page, which am from Washington state if you go to BON of Washington state you will find that information there.
