I just received my California RN license but I live in NJ (20' minutes commute to downtown NYC). I need to decide between NY vs. NJ before I start working on changing my license but I am not sure which state to pick. Can anyone please give me some pros and cons? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and God bless.

Hi! I'd like to know more about the working condition in New York. I'm still here in the Philippines but soon to work in NY. I already have license to practice as RN in NY and signed contract with the agency there. I really have no idea what's life would be in NY. I need some advises and recomendations as to how I will manage the life in BIG APPLE NEW YORK. Thanks
Hi , where in Ny you are planning to work.If it is in Manhatten... pay is more and workload is higher.Outside Manhatten salary is a little lower and less workload.I am comparing the hospitals. ok?
Thanks for the informations. Unfortunately, My agency doesn't tell me yet where I'm going to be asssigned. Tha'ts why, i am the the one doing inquiries of my own. All i can do for now is to gather general informations about NY. As to where is the ideal place to stay considering i have two kids to send them to a decent grade school. Your information and advises would be greatly appreciated.
