Sorry, I should have been clearer in my previous post. What areas of the state are you interested in? There are big geographic differences within Texas. In smaller cities and rural areas, hospitals are much more likely to employ ADN nurses. Please don't make any drastic changes until you have a job lined up.

oh sorry hehe. i am looking at houston, austin. I recenty visited texas and i loved the katy, sugarland area. i am hoping for the best because i have my husband who is a correction officer in NY, a 2yr old and a new baby on the way. But can i apply for work in TX while currently in the process of endorsing my license? i have done the application and completed the exam what's left is fingerprint. I have a family and want to move once i am guaranteed a job. so will any healthcare center look at my resume even if am still licensed in NYC. thanks
