Can anyone please tell me the salary range for an RN with 4 years experience at NYP. A friend has a job interview there and is curious about the salary vs cost of living. Thanks for all replies?

At this point, before our contract expires this year, your friend would probably start at around $80K, plus night diff/certification/BSN, etc...

Your cost of living will probably be much higher depending on what you are used to. My advice is to Google "cost of living calculator" and see if you can deal with it.

NY ain't cheap, that's for sure.

Thanks Steve. She is coming from Boston and currently makes about 8 grand less a year. Considering her expenses will most certainly increase, it may be a lateral move for her. Thanks for the reply! One other ??? Do you know about the housing that NYP offers? Are they nice? Reasonably priced?? Once again thanks for your response.
