Hello Everyone!

Im a new graduate. I graduated in the beginning of march. My school made it a requirement to complete the VATI review before we were allowed to get our names sent to the boards. Well, I got the green light! Now, Im scheduled to take the Nclex-Pn in three weeks! I need help with some study tips. These are the sources I am currently using:

Saunders(Content)

Hurst Audio (Content)

Kaplan Strategies

UWorld qbank (50-100 questions a day)

Nclex Mastery

I stopped using the saunders qbank because I felt as if those questions were not challenging enough. Initially, I was doing 200 questions a day. I reduced it to 50-100 so I could understand the rationale for each question. Do you guys have any more suggestions? Do you think I have enough time to study in 3 weeks? And what was the NCLEX like? Is it as scary as everyone says it is?

I used Saunders for content review, and the questions are written to test your knowledge on that particular chapter, and I also thought they were somewhat easy. I did use RN Mastery, but some questions don't have full explanations/rationales and I did have to email them at least 20 times to edit questions due to errors and wrong information.

UWorld and PDA were the other ones I used and highly recommend.

3 weeks is plenty of time to study. What I recommend is to go test yourself on the incorrect questions on UWorld.

i'm not sure how different the NCLEX PN is to the RN but I still thought it was extremely difficult even though I completed UWorld almost 1.5x, but UWorld questions were the closest thing to the NCLEX!

I TOOK NCLEX TODAY! the interface looked just like UWORLD! INCREDIBLE. I stopped at 85 questions, it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. But, we'll see. I'll keep you posted.

I just went to the library and ordered every nclex text book I could find plus looked online for questions bc I didn't want to spend the money for test prep classes. Yes I was very nervous when I sat to take the test and I usually don't get nervous when taking a test. My 2nd question was a sata and I really got nervous but then I said to myself that I did the studying so I just had to let it fly and answer the best I could and then move on to the next question. I don't reccomended spending a lot of time on each question. Break it down think it through and then trust yourself to answer the question. Mine stopped in 1.5 hours at 75 questions and I passed. Wishing you success on your journey.
