NWFSC Fall 2020

Who applied for NWFSC Nursing for Fall 2020??

I requested to join the facebook page.

My degree works changed to "Associates of science in nursing/Senior", but my points are in the lower 90s. So, I do not think I got into nursing. I have A's in all the prerequisites, and a bachelors degree. That is not supposed to help me (unless their was a tie). I think. It actually looks like I am able to register for nursing classes, but I better stop messing with it.

Yeah, I'm not sure what to make of the changes to our majors. I've not heard anyone yet, say that theirs didn't change to that. I'm worried my 109 isn't enough. My GPA is 3.43 and will be 3.46 after this semester. The tie breakers are supposed to come down to just your HESI scores and your GPA and the GPA can actually get someone in over someone with better HESI scores. Just praying that I've done enough to get in.

Hello I talked to one of the advisors and she said that the reason why out majors changed was because the nursing program needed to access our info so it was something they had to do.. she said only 120 students major changed. It’s best to wait for the confirmation before making any changes. Also if you weren’t accepted it’ll go back to pre-nursing. She said they were getting calls about it.

Hey it’s over 100 points which is good! Don’t lose hope.

Definitely won't lose hope but for sure nervous. I just want to know already. I really thought I'd ace the anatomy part of the HESI and that would have put my score at 129. I'm not at all happy with how I did on that part. I took A&P 1 like 14 years ago self study, it wasn't online then it was called distance learning, you went for an orientation and got your syllabus and you came in for midterm and turned in your work and for a final and turned in your work and that was it. I really feel like I need to retake it to refresh myself, but all my nurse friends told me no. A&P 2 has been a struggle but I think I've pulled an A there. Still feel like I should retake 1 though.

I have a friend who recently retook her A&P 1 for a grade since she’s taken it 10 years ago—not that she did bad 10 years ago but as a refresher ?

I'm not surprised they were getting calls about it. False hope. darn it. So still stressing on this. Cannot wait until Tuesday.

I saw that in this thread. Not sure if I have the time now to get it taken again. I'm taking classes over the Summer as it is. I have two sciences left to have all of my classes except the nursing ones done.

OMG, 120 student! Now I’m anxious again LOL. But we got this guys! It’s gonna happen

Don’t be anxious. You have a really good score LOL. I feel like I could cut it close so I am anxious ?. I thought over 400 people apply. I wonder if 120 are the ones that met the initial criteria. Tuesday can’t come soon enough ?

Dr. Mac told us that 300+ people apply each semester to the nursing program. There are a total of 36 regular seats available and 12 LPN seats available. Good Luck to all.

The program is so competitive, but that’s because it’s really good and cheap
