I made a facebook group for Fall 2020 when they announce on Tuesday if anyone is interested.

Hey did you delete the facebook group?

I think it’s gone... I’ll make a new one

OK now I'm really stressing! What are all y'alls points? Are you just now getting the emails? Or earlier?

Did you get yours?

My degree works changed to "Associates of science in nursing/Senior", but my points are in the lower 90s. So, I do not think I got into nursing. I have A's in all the prerequisites, and a bachelors degree. That is not supposed to help me (unless their was a tie). I think. It actually looks like I am able to register for nursing classes, but I better stop messing with it.

Hello All,

firstly congratulations to all that got into the fall 2020 nursing class. I'm aiming to be in by Fall 2021 (a while away I know) but in the meantime, I was told to take A&P 1,2, English Comp 1, maths and Nutrition since I have overseas qualifications (from the UK my high school included so far my high school certificate was the only thing accepted) and my college credits won't count towards the program even though I took nursing classes overseas, the lady at the college also said not to worry about the rest since I need to have at least 13 credits each semester to qualify for financial aid etc. I was hoping you guys might be able to let me know if this is true and what tutors to pick for the classes listed. I wrote down (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) for A&P.

Another question I noticed the scholarship application is now part of the college application has anyone been given a scholarship for the nursing course?

Many thanks in advance

Hello! And I’m so excited for you! I can’t believe they won’t count your credits—I suggest you talk to another person regarding that. I’ve had a couple of people I know where the advisor says something and another advisor says another. I don’t know which dept you talked to. Yeah you have to have at least 12 credits to be considered full time—you’ll get the full amount of the financial aid I think max is 18credits—but if you only take 10credits I think you still get the aid but only half of it.

what kind of math do you need? I took a traditional college algebra with (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) on crestview campus. He was nice and had you do some problems on tour own while in class so he knows you understand. You can work with a partner and ask him questions. I took Statistics on Niceville campus traditionally and I had (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) and he was a good teacher but only does one problem for each topic. You have to sit closer to the board with him because he writes tiny. If I had another change I’d take (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) for statistics—I’ve had people I know that took his class and they have high praise of him.
I took Nutrition class online last Summer semester, it was fast paced and I had (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). It was easy. There were quizzes I think every week (not timed) and exams every 2 weeks or so. She had one big project that I suggest you do right away especially if you’re taking it in the Summer because it is time consuming.
