I haven't seen a thread for this yet and there has been one for just about every semester at MEC, so I decided to make one.
I'm currently studying for the TEAS and I've printed out the Fall 2018 application to work on but there are some very confusing elements (and possibly typos?) on it so I plan on asking on Monday. Since they changed nearly everything from previous years I feel like they made some mistakes (possibly).
Is anyone else a little confused? For instance, they tell you not to get a background check until notified to do so, but the complete checklist on the application they give you instructs you to initial that you've completed the background check.
Yes we should. I don't know what will happen in your case and my case. If we received an email stating that we have not meet the minimum requirements, then we are out.
I applied to VCU and Dental hygiene at NOVA but I didn't get accepted. if I didn't get into nursing program at NOVA ill try my luck at Shenandoah University fall 2019.
Ugh. I hadn't been keeping up with this page thinking we weren't going to hear from the department for a while. I was in that first group of emails, but unfortunately I have not received an acceptance. Bummer. I am not sure why though? Oh well! Good luck to those who have gotten in so far!

did you get a rejection ? or nothing at all ?
can you tell me about your TEAS score and your grades with prerequisites if you don't mind?
I'm just trying figuring out how they make their decision
I got that everything was sent to the department, but no rejection yet. I know my GPA is probably what is getting me.. since they changed the requirements this time around. Ill Just break down all scores to make it easier.
@welshiedc what did the email say? Was it an acceptance?
No, just that my application has been moved up to the next level of review and the Nursing Dept will be in touch. Still happy to have gotten that though!
