Hello!
Starting this thread for those who are interested in attending NVCC's hybrid program that starts in 2016. My fiance will be an applicant :) I'm already an RN in the area. Just saying hi!

Hi!
I just recently mailed my application for the January 2016 Hybrid program. Has your fiancé already mailed his application? I's so nervous. Ive heard the decision emails are sent by November 15th, this is going to be a long month.

I got a confirmation of application as well. I am currently in my last general education course- PSY 202, have spent the last year doing all my pre-reqs and classes you're able to take outside of the program before I get in. This is the longest month ever but I am hoping for the best. I got around 90% on all my TEAS and applied with a 3.5+gpa in cumulative coursework. Good luck to you all!
I received a confirmation as well. I've been told we will hear back by November 15th. Good Luck all!
Does anyone know how many students they typically accept in the Spring? I know they usually accept 100+ in the fall but their spring program I think is smaller?
I asked when I called and was told the past few years they've accepted all applicants. Last year was 62 and the year before was something crazy like 16. At the time they had received 20 applications for the 2016 program but it was only the first week of October.
Thank you! That is nice to hear and I hope stays true for the Spring program.
My husband is in that class now. Good luck!!

I just dropped my application off at FedEx earlier today. I'm surprised to hear everyone got in last session, I've always thought it was super-competitive to get into the program?
Good luck, everyone!

JavaRN2B have you received your confirmation of application? My mail pack arrived on Oct 26th and haven't received any email of any sorts yet.
When I went to the student services center for a question, one of the ladies told me the same thing that they said to Kelkel1013, that last year that all students were accepted into the hybrid program that applied. Not sure if it was the same thing for the traditional program or if it was just for the hybrid program.
