I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX
NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005
Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005
Visa received : ???
Date of entry in the US :???
GC receive : ????
I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.
God bless!
i may have missed your post, but have you received your passport (w/ the visa) already?thanks.
Thanks for calling my attn. I'm always here, quietly reading posts.
Yes, we got our visas already, about a week after our interview.
I will be leaving pretty soon, my family will follow after 2 months.
From the letter which i got from NVC last July 2005 after i got my Packet 2 or Notice of Approval from USCIS:
Priority Date: 24 February 2005
NVC Case #: MNL2005######
Preference Category: E-3 Skilled Workers
I was just wondering why everybody in this thread who posted has a Visa Category as EX Schedule A while mine is E-3 Skilled workers when in fact i am also an RN like the rest of them!! do u think there can be anything wrong with my petition? Or will u only get a Visa Category EX Schedule A when u will receive ur packet 3? Anybody from u guys who got a letter from NVC with the same Preference Category as mine?? please help me! coz if it is so..i would have to move on and find another agency to file a petition for me as a schedule A worker not E-3 Skilled worker!!!
To add on to my predicament I am still in packet 2 until now...the moment USCIS approved my petition and forwarded it to NVC last July 2005, NVC did not mail any fee bill to me,instead it states that there are no visa numbers available for this petition, u will be requested not to give up your job or make any further plans at this moment. We will notify u as soon as visa numbers will be available...THIS MAKES SENSE TO ME NOW----- i think the reason why this is what the NVC told me is because of the Category type that they believed that i am in E-3 Skilled Worker and E-3 Skilled Worker's visa is not current anymore! imagine this! i couldn't quiet believe the situation that i am in right now! After 1 year of waiting and not realizing the mess that i am in this time...my goodness...i am so frustrated and disappointed about all this but nonetheless at least i knew now than to know all about this much later...i have to move on....i can always go out from my agency because this is not what they promised to me!!! i'll find another agency as soon as possible anyway after many emails that i made for my agency to answer me until now they never replied when i asked them regarding this.... can anybody out there recommend to me a reliable and fast agency to help me start a new application? please? i can always withdraw my contract from the said agency since i am the one who financed all my exams anyway and i made sure that i signed the contract that i can withdraw it as long as i pay them what they have paid for me like my exams...guys help me! i'm desperate in here!
hi guys. m back with another question. my friend is already scheduled for the interview at the Us embassy in manila on march 7, 2006. But until now, she has not yet received her appointment letter. neither her agency in NY. have you heard of any similar situations?? Its just 7 days from now and she hasnt been to St. Luke's hospital for the PE. what should she do?

hi,
just let her print out the schedule in the US Embassy website and attach it to her packet 3 with her case number and name. Let her present it to the guard and she will be assisted to go to window f for the packet 4. She will be asked for some identification. This is what most of my fellow nurses did who had their medical exam without the appointment letter. Most of the appointment letters are St. Lukes. Hope this will help your friend

i feel so bad for you.
available visas for EB3 skilled workers from RP are for those with MAY 2001 PD. you're off by 4 years! your I140 approval notice should've already indicated an EX category for you. that is why you did not receive a fee bill notice because NVC will never process your papers because 2005 EB3 applications aren't current.
you should've been alerted by your agency at the onset. it is their (and your lawyer's) responsibility to correct this mistake.
when did you start questioning this scenario?
i know you know now that you have wasted one full year for nothing. this is just my opinion, i think it's back to square one for your CP -- whether your agency answers your queries or you find another agency (check your contract should you decide to take this route).
you and my wife almost have the same PD (hers is jan, 2005). we're scheduled for a march interview. you should be receiving your packet 4 any moment now, had this been corrected immediately.
i am not an alarmist, but let's all pray that the 50K visas will last and benefit most of us who are working hard for it.
don't lose hope. others around here will surely provide you with more insightful suggestions.
good luck
I do not charge for it.................Adn you will have to come to one of our little fun days at the casino. Great buffet lunch and and an oulet mall right next door. Plus central location for everyone, whether south or north.
hi suzanne,
wow, that is something to look forward to! i will let you know as soon as i have everything finalized.
by the way, would you mind if i ask for a copy of the NCLEX study program so i can share it to my friends who are planning to do the NCLEX.
thanks a lot suzanne.
