I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX
NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005
Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005
Visa received : ???
Date of entry in the US :???

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.
God bless!
Hi Leis23! Just got an email from the NVC. I dunno if its something...."now eligible for further processing" but still at the bottom of the letter they are still asking for the ds230.
Hi, fruity!
could you quote some parts of the email from NVC? I emailed NVC again. They seem to have overlooked my mail last June 14, 2007 and have not replied yet.
what have you done? has your lawyer received some correspondence from NVC?

dear sir/madam:
your inquiry has been received at the national visa center (nvc).
this petition is now eligible for further processing. the attorney of record will receive further instructions regarding the processing of this petition.
we are waiting for the form ds-230 (application for immigrant visa). the applicant must complete this form and send it to this office so that we may continue processing this file.
please visit http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html to download a copy of the ds-230 and/or the instructions. if you do not have access to the internet, you may wish to visit your local library or an internet café.
regards,
national visa center

hi fruity! when did you receive this message?
we also send an inquiry to nvc last week and still the status of my twins are the same "no visa available". as i've said, before the retro, their case is completed and will be notified (lawyer) if the file is transferred to local consulate. their pd, may 2006 & the other one is june 2006.
actually, they both received a call from their employer when the visa bulletin became cuurent. as in early in the morning and they were informed to complete their vaccine and police clearance because they are expected to get thier visa this year....
god knows and we all leave to him.
god bless to all of you and i am also very excited to know the outcome of all the pensing cases here. goodluck!

hi fruity!
my cousin received the same letter from nvc. i think her pd is jan 2006. she was asked by her lawyer to submit an updated ds230.so she complied.
as for me, letter from nvc does not include the line "eligible for further processing" so i guess , it is still waiting game for me.
hi, guys.
can i just download the ds-230 from the internet and submit it? The bar coded sheet was already submitted to NVC previously. Do you think it will cause another delay if I just send the one from the internet along with my original documents? Or should I just wait for the bar-coded one from my lawyer in case NVC sends me another DS-230 to fill up again.
Btw, I did not send any pictures with my packet 3 before. I just sent photocopy of my passport (biographical data), birth certificate and NBI certificate. I also included CENOMAR. Should I include another Certificate of No Marriage? And should I include pictures, too?
Thanks for your inputs in advance.

Hi ymmai, from my readings since your country is an Alpha Post, it usually takes about 3 months for processing. Now that Visas are current, it might be earlier than that! fingers crossed :)
