I need help.
I have a psych project on alternative therapies. My alternative therapy is nutrition. My textbook only covers nutrition generally and as basic good nutrition. But my instructor wants how specific foods help specfic disorders. But she didn't give me a disorder. So I don't know how to start. Should I pick a disorder or find several disorders and how nutrition can be used to help decrease s/s??????
I am having a hard time finding something. Maybe I am just too tired to find what I need..........But if anyone has any tips, let me know. I have a few more days to look.

I would ask your instructor what she prefers.

Sounds like an interesting project. We didn't go into detail on this except to learn that some foods such as finger food would be helpful for someone manic that won't sit down and eat a nutritious meal. I've done some research on different diets that are either clinically or anectdotally supposed to help with disease process but not in relation to a psych diagnosis. Good luck.
