If someone actually gets caught working as a RN or LPN without an Licenses. What can happen to them?
I assume the Texas BON has no authority over them?
Does it go to the Attorney General? If so what do they do? Or does it go in a blackhole?

Yes, it is a criminal offense. The individual is subject to arrest and their case is referred to the District Attorney. In the latest BON bulletin, four cases were reported. Oddly enough, all of them were in the DFW area.
It's a criminal offense? From the Texas Penal code? Tx Board of Nursing?
Referred to the District Attorney tell me not much is done about it. I wonder why the Texas Board of Nursing doesn't go after them
