Nursing students going into CRNA school?

Published

I was wondering of anyone was taking pre-nursing courses with the intention of eventually becoming a CRNA? I am interested in becoming a CRNA, but need to talk to some people who have researched it more. Thanks!!:rcgtku::rcgtku::rcgtku:

Seriously, you are dead on. At least 1/3, if not 1/2 of all my classmates talk about it. About half of those people don't really understand what it is, they just heard it pays really well.

One woman in one of my classes said she wanted to be CRNA, but she couldn't even pronounce it! Kept calling it a "nurse anesthist".

I always think it's funny when the ones that are barely makin it through nursing school talk about how they want to be a CRNA...if they had done any research into their "future Profession" they would see that they generally accept those who were at the top of their class for CRNA school not the bottom dwellars as a high GPA just allows you to apply let alone be competitive...cracks me up every time...lol.
