Hello everyone,
I just recently started the remainder of my first term of the nursing program. I am feeling a little my last term was easy and finished with A's. I know that this time it will not be as easy after my first day of class to find out I have to read seven chapters, study for a quiz, and some how find a way to sqeeze algebra in there I am feeling a little overwhelmed. I know it can be done but I know it will be extremely hard. I do work part time which is all weekend and not to mention I am a proud mother of four. Since I was a little girl I dreamed of being a nurse it took my son to kick me in the butt to get me motivated. I also feel like God put us all here for a reason and I feel that my reason was to take care of the sick, disabled, etc. I'm afraid of letting myself down but most of all I'm afraid of letting my children down. Please I need some motivational words!

YOU CAN DO IT!!!!! Just think of your kids when ever things get tough. They are the reason u have made it this far. You want to provide a better life for them financially and you're almost there!!!!! You got this girl :)

I'm kind of in the same boat! It does seem overwhelming when you think about it all at once so what I do is try to only think about it when I want to reflect on where I'm at at the moment in my Nursing journey. Other than that, I take it one day at a time and set little goals for myself (daily goals, weekly goals, etc.) It's all a head game I think. "How badly do you want it?" is what I ask myself when I start feeling overwhelmed. WHATEVER it takes to get you back into the books and get it done. Period. Not everything in life is easy; why should it? Then everyone would do it. If you know you have it in you to do it, then do it.
