  1. As MrChicagoRN mentioned, maybe take a step back and look at your local community college to retake patho and then go back to the university. I would retake it at your university but since it's too pricey for your pocket, I'd say go to a CC and go from there but don't give it up. If you want something that badly, you'll make the necessary sacrifices no matter what's going on in your life.
  2. I will definitely keep my eyes and ears open when I visit the school this week. I have read mixed reviews but heard nothing but good things about the school. Every single Nebraska resident I've talked to says if I can afford Creighton, then go there and have UNO as a backup. But that has yet to be seen once I actually go there in person. But thanks for the warning. A difficult curriculum does not phase me but a terrible atmosphere (especially faculty) does worry me as they are not exactly inexpensive nor do I have that kind of time to waste on a crap school. I may write back a follow up on my findings! :)
  3. I'm kind of in the same boat! It does seem overwhelming when you think about it all at once so what I do is try to only think about it when I want to reflect on where I'm at at the moment in my Nursing journey. Other than that, I take it one day at a time and set little goals for myself (daily goals, weekly goals, etc.) It's all a head game I think. "How badly do you want it?" is what I ask myself when I start feeling overwhelmed. WHATEVER it takes to get you back into the books and get it done. Period. Not everything in life is easy; why should it? Then everyone would do it. If you know you have it in you to do it, then do it.
