dear all:
i am trying to get into the nursing program after finishing my pre-req
classes. wherever i go, there is a long waiting period to get into these
programs and i am running around to find schools where there is no waiting
list or a very minimal waiting list. i am sure there are many students who
are looking for this information.
can you help me and students like me to compile a list of schools within
united states (any states) or canada where the waiting list does not exist ? i am sure there are many students and faculty who are part of this
allnurses.com forum and we can create such a list.
please also mention if there is a fast-track program for 4-year bachelor's
degree holder. i heard of few schools such as university of calgary,
canada where they offer 2 year fast-track program for bn if you already
have a bachelor's degree and completed few pre-req classes.
thanks a million to everybody !
here is my list:
1. university of calgary have 2 year bn program for 4-year college

Viterbo College in La Crosse, WI (BSN)

good school, with clinicals starting your sophmore year, they also have a Master's program and a diploma or ADN to BSN program
I here ya! As a former resident of the "Conejo Valley" (Thousand Oaks) I was going to school forever! There was a waiting list for the pre-reqs! Fortunately I moved out of state (Oklahoma) where there are numerous 2-year and 4-year programs. Competitive, but got in my first semester. I am not aware of any online nursing programs if you are not already an RN. I know there are many RN to BSN programs, and they are typically VERY expensive. Good luck in your endeavors!:)
