Nursing Schools in Atlanta

U.S.A. Georgia

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of any RN programs in ATL besides Bauder that has their prereqs added into their program? I have been attending a community college for almost a year and a half and because I have not passed pre-algebra for the 3rd time, Math has always been challenging for me. I received an IP for a grade. Missed a C by 4 pts. I will have to sit out from that particular college for a year. The good news is, I can take Math098 at a Technical school, but I feel like time is of the essence for me. I will be 48 yrs young on Friday, and i would like to be an RN by 50. The classes that I have already obtained I'm sure can transfer. Also, I had taken a CNA course while on break in December. Looking to get into hospitals to gain experience. Any suggestions with both of my questions will be greatly appreciated??????

None that is know of besides Bauder. And keep in mind most NS will have you take a med math test each semester. So don't just brush off math. Learn it. Nurses use it.

Thanks for responding. It is not an option for me to blow off math. I must learn it. It has always been my most challenging subject though.

Specializes in hospice, HH, LTC, ER,OR.
