Anyone know of a nursing school (ADN or BSN) in California (anywhere in cali) that doesn't require any prereqs to attend?

i am going to APU which is private and has a really good program. it is a little expensive because it is a private and i will understand.

but on the whole pre-requisite thing, you can try a trade school or tech school or a private, because you might be able to do what i am doing right now. my pre-req are organic chem, and anatomy into the program and then you can do micro, biochem, and physiology while doing the nursing program. its pretty cool because you dont have to put in all the pre-req at once...so i would try that

trade or tech school might not need pre-req, but then again you cant transfer anything either...

Which private college are you attending?

Which private college are you attending?

Azusa Pacific University

it has several nursing programs and bridge programs and gives masters and doctorates in nursing too

you should look into it, its private, a christian private university, so you do have to do a couple of chapel classes (which i heard, since i havent taken any, are pretty fun and cool) and its on the expensive side [$12,000/semester], but its bridge programs and BSN are accelerated too. i love it so far!

I talked to West Coast Univ. in Anaheim today and was somewhat excited at first. They have a BSN program that has no prerequisites. I have a B.A. already so I thought this might be the route I'd like to take. Well, turns out that if you have had your degree longer than 5 years (I've had mine for 6), you have to take ALL your general ed over again. That's ridiculous and I told her so. She said it's the school's policy. I guess it's the school policy to charge $110,000 for redundant coursework. I promptly crossed them off my list. And the search continues...:banghead:
