Please anyone....Any tips on answering critical thinking questions. I can't seem to get the hang of it. I am a new LPN student.

What helped me in LPN school was the internet! Whatever we were covering in class, I studied online. I also found online NCLEX question banks & would study NCLEX-PN questions over and over. Then studying felt more like a game to me rather than work. Youtube did not exist then, I really wish it had. Now there is tons of nursing information through Youtube and other sites that can help you study. Just make sure you use credible sources when studying. Good luck!

Get a Saunders question and answer book. Do corresponding questions. It not only helps you and expose you to very similar test questions, it actually does teach you in the process.

Buy an nclex-pn Lippincott & Saunders. Practice questions whatever topic you are on. Also based all the test questions on Maslow & priority. Also, watch Youtube. Hope we had youtube back then. Good luck to you!
Thank you all! I have learned a lot over this past few months. My critical thinking skill have improved alot by doing questions, questions, questions! I graduate in less than 2 months and I'm beyond excited to become a nurse despite these tough time with the Covid-19 outbreak.

When I was LPN school. For majority of questions regardless of subject. I looked at the Maslow hierarchy of needs pyramid. Also I utilized ABC. I passed the top of my class. I hope this helps. Congratulations on your success!
