Nursing School Student Is LOST!

Published

Hi everyone! First time poster here!

I will be enrolling into Nursing school sometime in the next year and plan to get my RN degree.

But, I want to get into aesthetic nursing. Specifically, administering cosmetic procedures like botox, chemical peels, laser hair removal, etc.

my ultimate goal is working in a plastic surgeons office or dermatologist office as this has been my dream job since I graduated from High School!

But, I also want to keep my options open!

im not sure what all I can do with an RN degree which is why I dropped out so I could figure out what I want to do.

Can someone give me an idea of what I can use an RN degree for related to the cosmetics field?

ive also seen some people mention being Nursing Practioners instead but I'm not as familiar with that position (or it's difference to being an RN)

I interpreted the dropping out of school as taking a break to figure out what classes she should take in order to achieve her desired end goal of working in dermatology or cosmetology.

OP- If people seem condescending it's best to just ignore them, not let them see it bothered you, that's what I do.

Anyway, you have a few paths you can take here to get to your goal: RN, NP, PA, and MD. For RN and NP, you need to earn your ADN or BSN. For PA, you need to earn a bachelor's degree and each PA school has different prerequisites such as chemistry, anatomy, volunteer hours, etc. And of course MD is med school. Don't chose the RN route simply because you think it's the easiest. There are a lot of other factors including limitations to consider, and also earning your RN is challenging too.

Going to college is a requirement, not dropping out. Obviously. Reading between the lines of an obvious text error is clearly not a skill for most people.

Honestly none of your posts make sense. Even when "reading between the lines".

I've read your posts over a few times and am totally confused as to what you are trying to say or think you are saying.

As itsthatjengirl put so nicely for you. Your attitude stinks. Maybe if you aren't so full of yourself you would see that you had your answers given to you very nicely, even though you clearly do not know what you are talking about OP.
