Hi Everyone,
I am looking to be a nurse. I've been in the IT field for over 11 years, and just think its time to move on to something else.
I was wondering what school(s) are good out here? I went to Maric College and took the CPAT test, so I'm in the process of enrolling there.
However I have heard some horror stories, and wanted to get some opinions on Maric College, but also from other colleges as well. Like what are good colleges, how are their reputations, etc.
I would love to hear from nursing students, prospective nursing students, and/or actual nurses in the field.
Any thoughts would be GREATLY appreciate. Thanks for your time.

hi, philippe!
here are links to lists of the official board approved nursing schools in california. i'm not sure whether you are interested in rn or lvn, so i'm listing links to both for you so you can find schools in the san diego area. search by area code or zip code. if you are a california resident (have lived here for 12 months) the tuition at community colleges is only $20 a credit hour at the present time.
