We're all here going for the same goals. We're all taking pre reqs, making sacrifices, volunteering, studying like crazy and doing whatever it takes to have all of our ducks in a row to even meet requirements to apply...
Realistically we all can't get in but that doesn't mean we all won't get in. I wanted to start a thread of the realities of this field from what I've learned. Because even if you have a 3.8gpa, volunteer 3 days a week, go to all the open houses, do amazing on the entrance exam you still may not get in.. and it has absolutely nothing to do with you... It's the nature of the beast!
for those who feel crushed...Keep applying!!! your time will come and if you want it bad enough it will happen no matter how long it takes. Feel free to tell your stories for those students who feel defeated... it could be a great thread to keep spirits up..
