I received my acceptance letter on 10/28 and I was beyond excited. Then the work kicked in, the background check which was super pricey and the urine test. Those two things are behind me. I even got three shots. The Tdap, Hep B and the flu. I apparently need a titer too for chicken pox cause no record of a vaccine. I did one PPD which was negative. I have to do the second one soon they make us do two step PPD's. Yeah, I had to vent about the prices before getting to the question, lol.
What should I expect at on Friday?
Oh, they have use taking the TEAS on 11/22 I am nervous about that even though the results will not affect kmy acceptance.
I hear ya between all the shots, bloodwork, tests, background checks, Scrubs, shoes, stethoscope, and supplies, I've probably spent at least 1k. Put it on a credit card if you have to. It will be worth it in the end[/quote']Me too! I've spent a lot too. I was lucky and didn't have to buy a stethoscope, because we get a free littmann. I didn't have to pay for any shots or titers drawn, but everything else you listed was expensive!

I basically got nothing free. We had to buy a 160
Buck bag that has all the things we need to practice on the fake patients. Like NG tubes, caths, needles, sterile water etc
$$$ :/ I've spent over $1,500 on TEAS test, background, drug, shots & titers; books; scrubs, and supplies. I'm beyond broke and class doesn't start for another week! They state in the handbook to apply you must only have a 2.0. At orientation, i met people tht said they had GPA's ranging from high 3'a to low 2's.
