Nursing school orientation -- Fall 2010

I have a two-day long orientation for my ASN program at a local community college. Not sure at all what to expect! Who's btdt, so far? How long was your orientation? We start class a week after orientation is done. Excited but nervous!

My school also had the seniors host a bbq for new nursing students, where we just got to meet each other and buy thier old books! Im am very excited to start!

My orientation is on the 16th, and will be 8-3:30. They sent us a fairly thorough schedule for the day, covering meeting faculty, study skills, health requirements and services, tours of both the old building and the new one, stress management and technology. We also get a lunch.

Ohhh yes, we also had some topics like available student services and stress management. Busy day!

My orientation is on Aug 30th, only 3.5 hours. School starts Sept 7th at 0800! :D
