Hey guys! I'm having a little problem. I'm trying to get a new job as a nursing tech at a local hospital and I'm not sure whether I should include nursing school on my resume. It's a full-time job (32 hours per week) in a float pool and I'm not sure they'd want to deal with a CNA who has to juggle work and school. So, is it worth mentioning?
Thanks!
I'd definitely list it. It will show you have more book knowledge than the average CNA because of your experience in nursing school. Best of luck.
I had the same question. I am still at odds on whether to include that info. on my resume. I looked at the possible outcomes:
1. Empoyers will like that your in nursing school because that shows you want to advance in nursing.
2. Employers will not like your in nursin school because that means you will not work that many hours, or you have to schedule your work hours around your school schedule.
3. Employers will like your in nursing school and may want you to continue to work with them when you get your RN.
