Nursing Scholarships

Do any one knows of any nursing scholarships or loan programs for nursing students over 24? I am 25 and just enrolled for the LPN program at FCTC. FAFSA is only covering $1,100 of the cost. Being that I have to quit my job in order to attend nursing school due to the hours of operations,I will need assistance with the cost.

No anyone under the age of 30 years old is eligible.

yeah the deadline is close. Do you know any other scholarship websites? The only scholarship I'm receiving is my out of state waive fee scholarship and financial aid but it doesn't cover all my tuition

The national student nurses association has scholarships but you have to be a member. All of my nursing school scholarship were provided through the school of nursing and financial aid. They did not cover everything. I got a hope scholarship though the university worth more than the school of nursing ones combined. Fill out the fasfa even if your not eligible at our nursing school you weren't considered for a scholarship without it.

But not all schools provide the hope scholarship? Never heard of it

Paola2319, how did you get an out of state waive fee scholarship? I would love more information about this.
