Nursing salaries by state

Hello. I hope this is not an inappropriate question, but what is the average pay for a new grad RN in your state? I live in La. and I am sure, like so many other catagories, we are on the bottom of the list..... Thanks alot!

I'm in E. Texas. Just got hired at a LTC facility for chilren. I am starting at $25.00/hr. The hospitals start from 19.00/hr to 22.00/hr.
