Each year you have a nursing placement in the summer months of school. For 6 weeks and sometimes 8 weeks. Do you get to pick if you want your placement in May/June or July/August because I have commitments so I would need the option to choose. But I can't find anywhere that tells me if there is this option or not.
Fiona59 8,343 Posts Has 18 years experience. Apr 29, 2009 Nursing school is a big commitment. Four years of your life. The school tells you when and where your practicuums will be. You get some selection in your last year as to what area you want to work.The school sets the dates and times.
