I believe your paper is meant to be something personal. To you. Not my personal views.

You prob have good ideas but you just need to put them down on paper. Like why did you plan on nsg as your career?

The "idea" has to come from you, but I will help direct you. You are not a nurse YET...but you already chose the profession of nursing....therefore...

1) Why did YOU choose nursing?

2) Why do YOU think the existence of the profession of nursing is important?

3) What do YOU think makes a great nurse?

I think if you answer these three questions...you will have your nursing philosophy!! Best of luck to you.

We had to write one in school as well. Our instructor made a PowerPoint for us. I tried to upload it on here to help you, but it wouldn't accept a PowerPoint document. So I copied it into a Word document. I had to dig it off my old computer so hopefully it helps! LoL! I struggled writing mine as well since I wasn't an RN yet either, but reading through the PowerPoint helped. The main idea is to write about what made you WANT to become an RN in the first place. What ideals, values, principles, etc. do you hold that you feel will correlate well into being an RN. Things like that.
