Nursing opportunities USA or Oz

Hi, I am a Registered general nurse from scotland and currently studying a degree in learning disability nursing. I know every country welcomes general trained nurses but can anyone tell me if learning disability nursing is recognised and welcomed for foreign nurses? I do know some countries do not I just don't know what ones. Any help much appreciated.

The USA definitely requires you to be a generalist trained nurse so a lot will depend on what your transcripts say. May have opportunity in Australia but will need to contact the state board on where you want to live

Would suggest you check out the International forum (under the region tab above) as the US is under retrogression and you will be affected and looking at several years waiting
