Nursing online

I was just curious how many of you feel about taking nursing courses online? I am not talking about continuing courses I mean the basics. Med/Surg 2 and critical care for example. The curriculum I signed up for did not include online and now they are changing it. I am set to graduate in Dec 2007 and now I am horrified. It is hard for me to learn that way. I need a lecture. Am I being closed minded? Just want some feedback. Thanks:uhoh3:

I would like the option of not travelling to class. However, I have never taken an online course either, and have read some negative feedback concerning online courses given by a certain program. Having read that, I would not want to start a new experience, so close to graduation time. Just would want things to go smoothly until the end.

Uhhhh.......no..........no online courses for something like that. I would not be comfortable with it because of the need for questions, etc.

But then, maybe I'm just old fashioned.......

Looking at something on-line for lectures is not a problem. But the bigger issue is what will they do with the clinical time that goes along with the theory? Will they make any changes to that? If not, then questions could be asked then. Would also depend on how the on-line program would be set up. Would you be able to contact the instructor with any questions?
