hello. so did you take the online course. if so, how was it.

Hi Everyone! I am new here:) My name is Marie and I recently graduated from an RN program in New York. (I was an LPN before that.)
I was curious to see if anyone has had any experience with SUNY Plattsburgh's Online RN to BSN program? Any particular pros and cons with the program? To my knowledge, it is CCNE accredited.

Hi all! I don't have any feedback on Plattsburgh but I'm currently doing online classes at SUNY Empire. Application and registration process was smooth and easy. I'm taking 2 classes now and it's been a gear experience so far.

Thank you for your input, I appreciate it very much :). How is the clinical portion of the program? My fear is if I am unable to find a clinical placement on my own, will the school provide me with one? Or will I be out of thousands of $$ in tuition?

At SUNY Empire, they give you a list and you can either choose one from there or find your own. You just have to submit an application and it has to be approved before you take the class. They say you should do that a year in advance. Which is fine because you have to take all the 300 level courses before you do clinical component. Hope this helps. Good luck!
